Psychic Phenomena and Religion

Religion has been steeped in phenomena. At the founding of many major religions existent in our world today was the manifestation of what is called the paranormal. These experiences have not been well understood and are often relegated to the realm of miracles or labeled evil. They are neither, rather a limited understanding of the principles or the Natural Laws upon which these things function.

In this lecture, Weston defines the categories of phenomena and describes in detail some of the scientific research occurring in the later 1800's and early 1900's into physical phenomena or seance room activities.

“These things have occurred and these things will continue to occur…It’s best that we have a good, solid foundation - spiritually, intellectually and emotionally, that we can ascertain the truth and the quality of these things…Hopefully [then] we’ll be more awake, we’ll be more aware, and we’ll be able to understand these phenomena in their true light, and that which they are able to reveal to us. “
