The subjects of metaphysics and parapsychology are seen as controversial and met with superstitions and even punishments. This lecture explores how religious leadership has been at the helm, all down through history, in impinging on the right to study or practice in these areas that gave them their religion in the first place - through mediumship. Couple this with the intertwining of church and state, in violation of the Constitution ensuring freedom of religion, to pass laws against involvement in such fields.
